An active public employee advocate, public school champion, community service volunteer and stalwart in the Utah Democratic Party, Susan has worked diligently on a wide variety of issues since moving to Utah in 1984.

Susan has devoted her political efforts to encouraging Utah women to run for elective office.  She was a funding member of the bipartisan "100 Years - 100 Women" project.  Many elected women in Utah know Susan as a friend and supporter.  She is a trusted advisor, confidante, mentor, and friend to many prominent women in Utah, and is counted on to give honest input, accurate information and valuable insights.  She reaches out to her personal and professional network to secure needed talent, time and financial support for Utah Democrats.
